Notes
The manuscript contains also Tacitus, Germania. It is a copy of the edition printed in Venice, 1476 (or 14779), by Andreas de Paltasichis, ISTC id00211000.
It was copied for cardinal Giovanni d’Aragona (1456-1485), son of king Ferrante I of Naples. It was afterwards acquired by the condottiero and humanist Andrea Matteo Acquaviva d’Aragona (1458-1529). It passed then to the Aragonese collection and in the Royal library of France. King Louis XV gave it as a gift it to the Bolognese pope Benedetto XIV.
